The connection string for some reason was commented out. When I uncommented that line the site loaded correctly and I have not got the error again so far.

I read about DNN Monitor on another post. I added my site and have not had experienced the slow loading issues since.

Well, same problem again this morning. The connections strings have not changed.

Please check back later

I typed a space in the web.config file and saved it and the site loaded...
I have no idea why this keeps happening.

I am still having this same issue. It just happens randomly. Why does this happen for no reason?

please check number of items in eventlog table, this should not exceed more than a few hundreds.

I just checked the Event Log. There were around 200 items.
Could that be the cause? Is there a way to prevent it from logging that many?

If I open the web.config and type a space then save the file the site loads normally  but I am not sure why....
