I am talking about technical requirements - IMHO integrating Sharepoint Services into DNN is more complex than creating an integrator from the scratch.

We use Sharepoint as the base of our corporate intranet. Over years a lot of Sharepoint Lists has taken over use cases which have been simple Access Databases or Excel files before. Some of these lists are now the main data source for a lot of other aplications.

For example we have an international event calendar, implemented as Sharepoint list. We reuse its content using webservices and  aggregate it to some of our intranet domains. Sharepoint talks XML and you can reuse it everywhere using your own modules.

At the current time no core module supports Sharepoint directly. Try to add the "Http-post" protocol inside the web.config of your Sharepoint Server and you should be able to use it with the XML module. I bet that a Sharepoint Connector will be on the road map for the XML module if it ever starts again.

PS: You will have a look at the new UDT release if you like Sharepoint lists.
