Is anyone using Open Web Studio (OWS) to developing modules?  I stumbled upon it a little while ago and was curious how popular it is.  The website doesn't have a lot of help.

Thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark,

there are a few of us around.  There's not much discussion of OWS here, but there are forums at openwebstudio.com and there are sample downloads that will help point you in the right direction here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/r2iop....

The site that helped me enormously was DNNCreative.com, Paul Deschenes produced a series of videos showing how you could use OWS to create a knowledgebase system - well worth the subscription fee alone.

There are a couple of people that have put their heads above the parapet in one of the LinkedIn DNN discussions here http://www.linkedin.com/groups?home=&...

Hope this helps

Barry

I'll poke around their forums to see what I can learn but the incomplete website sort of scared me a bit.

DNNcreative.com - the activity on their forums scares me too. I see a lot of "I paid for my membership but it's still not active" posts and it seems the response time is very slow. Also, I made a post to request an invoice for membership since my employer is willing to pay for it but can't get a response.

I'm already a member on that linkedin group and I'll keep it in mind if I have other questions.

Thanks!

Mark
