So, I have found out that if I add any controls into like the View.ascx I'll get an Error Creating Control label box in the Design view. However, compiling and then checking my website where the module is placed, the controls suddenly work. I'm not complaining about them working, but this does make using some features that are in design view of Visual Studios impossible to use. Is there a way to fix these errors?

Mitchell,
I've not found this to be the case. Just wondering, are you using the Christoc template and following the setup and project properties procedure? Using that typically removes most of the "gotcha" variables for module development.

Also, when you drag and drop a control from the toolbox VS will add a web.config to your project (which breaks the project in DNN). Make sure you delete the web.config before compiling and running the project in DNN
