If my dotnetnuke site is www.website.com, how do I add a standalone website that doesn't use DotnetNuke on that same server?

For example, my standalone site is www.website.com/standalone but I don't want to put it in DotNetNuke.

Where would I put the standalone website folder on my DotNetNuke server?  Do I need to create some kind of virtual directory?

Sounds like a question your hosting company could answer since they may control what you can do.

If you have no other option, putting it under the root of DNN can be done but I wouldn't advise it since it's not related.

Is the standalone website static content, or based on another CMS?

As Mark said, you can put a folder within DotNetNuke that has static content, but for cleanliness sake it wouldn't be advised.

It is not based off another CMS.  The one folder is a speed test for the website and the other is a static page.... The static page would be easy to put in DotNetNuke... but the speed test is not.

The only other option is to possibly create a subdomain for the speed test......

I suggest using www.yoursite.com and another IIS website test.yoursite.com
