Hi Guys,

Due to me being new to DotNetnuke - I am bound to run into some issues and this one in particular has me stumped.

I tried to install a module in DNN 6. After the install I realized the module I was trying to install only supported DNN 5 and clever me went ahead and attempted the install on my DNN 6 instance.

Straight after clicking finish after the module installation, my site would no longer load. Every time i load the page I get the error message I've pasted at the bottom.

Could someone please point me in the right direction?

I tried replacing the Telerik.Web.UI.dll with the one which came originally with the DNN install although it didn't make a difference.
I really need to get this site back up and running ASAP.

Can anybody help me get to the bottom of this?

Thanks!
Shaun

If you check your website folder and check the properties of the telerik.web.ui.dll file in the bin folder - write down the number.
Then compare that number to the in your web config file.

Look for something like this in your web config:

That new version number should match the number that you wrote down.

Hi thanks for that - I can now get to the site although I am unable to login and it doesn't seem to be loading any of the CSS. (www.icode.co.za)
The module I installed originally which began the problems was the Nivoslider found at this link. http://nivoslider.codeplex.com/
It says .NET framework version 4 is required although I am running on .NET Framework version 2.
It also says its made for DNN 5 although I am running DNN 6.1.3

Is there a way to manually uninstall this module somehow?
Im trying to restore functionality to the site because at the moment it doesnt seem to be loading any of the CSS and I am unable to login.

Please help!
