I have been following the Installation video, which also came up with these errors (below). But then the moderator went to SQL SERVER MGMT STUDIO to fix the errors. I don't have that and was wondering if there was another way to fix this? I went to the database itself, but didn't see anything that I could change or update to fix the problem. Database name and password are verified, so quite confused as to how to continue.

As I was waiting for this post to come up, I figured out the problem. When at the part for filling in the blocks for the database setup, the official database description was DNN - what you saw if you were in Hosting Management on the website server looking at your database. But I discovered that if I put the database name there instead, the start up program continued, the database was built, and everything got set up right. Now I'm off and running setting up the website - which is on a godaddy server.

please make sure, you have TCP/IP protocoll enabled for both, SQL Server and Client as well as the sql server user specified in your web.config has dbowner permission for the database, you created.
