Greetings;

I am interested in creating a media section on my site that would allow certain users to upload media other then regular stills / images. Files such as mov, wmf, mpeg for example (short media clips). I have searched and read some media - gallery links but I must confess being new to DNN I am still puzzled. A co-worker of mine has DNN on a site with the gallery, and it of course lets the media file (in this case a wmf) to be uploaded, placed, even has a icon for media player where the placement is. But the file will not play. I was impressed with how the gallery was laid out with the options I saw. But can the gallery or a gallery be set up so the file will play, or is there a way to allow for the user to click on the file and allow the host to play - open media files such as the above mentioned types?
