Hello everyone,
So, my website has one huge page that consists of ~600 links; each link links to a page (inside our dotnetnuke website). Here is the page: http://www.bioscience.org/dotnetnuke2...
Now, what I did was make bulk pages, and named them 1, 2, 3, etc.. and linked them in order. (Hopefully you can understand what I did by just visiting that page.) For example, the first link, "1. Sperm Biology, from Basic to Clinic" links to a page entitled "1.aspx" (http://www.bioscience.org/dotnetnuke2...).
Now, because we are moving content from an old html site to dotnetnuke, I have to manually edit the content on each of these pages, which I don't mind doing. I am currently still working on moving content over for these pages (so only the first 4 entries are done for now). HOWEVER, here is where my problem lies: within my bulk pages 1.aspx, 2.aspx, 3.aspx, etc. I include links to other pages (ie: within the page Sperm Biology, from Basic to Clinic - 1.aspx, Managing Editor: Elisabetta Baldi links to a page I created, http://www.bioscience.org/dotnetnuke2/Editors/ManagingEditorList/tabid/195/u665q/456C69736162657474612042616C6469/u665c/4E616D65/u665m/contain/Default.aspx - generated by Form and List module). NOW, I am going to eventually remove "dotnetnuke2" from the URLs of my website (or rename it). I don't want to have to go back and manually change this in all 600 pages. My question: is there a way to edit bulk pages with dotnetnuke (so that I can change the URLs later)? Or can someone recommend a solution?
I really appreciate any insight on how I could deal with this. I wouldn't mind implementing some kind of extension that could maybe help with this issue. If any further clarification is needed, please ask.
Dan
