Hello,

I have a problem with my site's login page. My configuration includes an SSL certificate for secure login. Here are my configurations to achieve this:

  1. Activate SSL in Site Admin
  2. Enforce SSL selected
  3. Home page: None selected
  4. Login page: My Secure Login Page
  5. On My Secure Login Page I selected the Secure option

The problem is that when I click on "Login" I am supposed to be redirected to My Secure Login Page but instead I do not get a response from the server. After some testing I found out that when the url is my site's root (www.mysite.com) I get this error but when the url is other than the site's root (www.mysite.com/otherpage.aspx), My Secure Login Page is displayed correctly.

The only difference I can identify is the ReturnUrl query string parameter. When it is returnurl=%2f (site's root) I get the error but when it is set to anything else or missing, My Secure Login Page displays perfectly.

On the server log I found an Odd error "A potentially dangerous Request.Path value was detected from the client (<)"

Any thoughts?

Sorry, the Request.Path error belongs to another issue.

Anybody? Ideas?

Thanks
