All,

I uploaded some images under admin-->file manager but noticed that I can't see them when edit content and try to insert an image using insert image-->image manager.

I assume this is a permissions issue but made me realize there may be a best practice for uploading images.  Since I had numerous images to upload, I did it via the admin-->file manager section of DNN but was wondering if this wasn't the best way to do it.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark, rather than being a permissions issue, you probably just need to do a Recursive File Sync (Admin > File Manager, tick Recursive and click Syncronize Files). Usually does the trick.

If uploading via file manager, filesync should be done automatically. please check permissions for the target folder (in File Manager select folder in tree on the left and set permissions in grid beneath)
