Hello

I got this error after I finished installing DNN, I'm very new in to DNN please tell me how to fix it ?

 

Server Error in '/' Application.

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Hello,

 Its looks like it could be a couple of different things. First I would check the permissions on the folder, make sure those are set properly. 

If that doesn't work, it could be when you extracted the DNN files from the zipped installation, the process may have hung and not fully extracted all the files or corrupted one of the files. To fix that you would just need to delete out the DNN files in your httpdocs (root) folder and unzip and paste them in there again.

 You will probably need to recreate the database as well.
