I did not mention that we use a  da-DK and de-DE  localization and we do use some custom value  in user profiles. 

An update  to this error,  

the error only appears if it is Administrator or Host that  changes User data on a regular userprofile

Error does not happen if User changes own data.

Sebastian, this has come up for me as I mentioned in the other post I had about Password Reminder issues. I cannot update any profile properties for any profile. Here is the specific error.

I looked in the Profile Properties and for Locale the type is Locale and there is no default value. Should I change it to en-US? Does it matter?

Cilff;

Sebastian was asking about the Locale of the User whose profile is throwning that error...

On first visit after profile creation the "Locale" value in a profile should be en-US if you've not done any localization.
