Merv;

Can you take a look in your web root\Portals\_default\Logs log file and see if you get any errors? ..................

 .................... Also, have you tried setting your log in function to the core DotNetNuke log in page?

Lastly, I'll have the Active Modules QA take a peek at this thread he may have some insights that will help out.

 I have the Mini Login on most pages, maybe something there. Will look at the log file. I have been using the Core DNN login for past day and still get logged out.

Ken,

I've looked through the log files for last couple of days. Can't find and entries that might give a clue but then I'm no that up to speed with what to look for, I could send you one of the files if you like.

Merv

New Info

Here's another question that might be a clue.  Since the upgrade I have noticed that the S'User account has lost some of it's powers (krypton effect). When logged on as S'User and I access the Admin menu to make change eg. Authorise/un-Authorise a user, Change a setting or similar click Save or Update nothing happens. Logout and login as Admin and do the same and it works.

Yesterday I was logged on as S'User and had a new Domain I had just delegated to the Name Servers when to Admin Site settings and added it to the Alias table. Didn't appear to save the entry and the whole screen stopped. I couldn't navigate away from it, couldn't do anything bit close the browser. When I open a new browser and went to the site I found that the site was redirecting to the new Alias which of course had not propagated into the system and was a "Page not  found" error. I had to get onto the Host (PowerDNN) to fix it and we were down for 30-40 minutes.

However since that the Logon / Logged problem seems to have disappeared but not the krypton effect.

 Famous last words. Which is another thing with this some days it hardly occurs then for some reason I can reproduce the log out at any time.

Well here's something new! I just logged on as Admin Ctrl + Go to Page (new tab) but this time I wasn't logged out but logged in as another user, my regular user account.

Could there be something going on with the cookies here?

I just cleared all cookies and the cache in two browsers (Chrome and FF). Seems to be okay for the moment.
