Hi Hans,

It appears from the event log that the errors are occuring when a search bot (in this case GoogleBot) is indexing the site. I browsed through a few of the Galleries on the site and did not see any errors occuring during normal user interaction. I suspect that the search bots are trying to travel down some links which result in failure due to the Gallery context not being set up as in a normal request. The error may also be occuring when the Gallery attempts to read a cookie which maintains the state of the sort and Gallery view options.

I did, however, notice that the pop-up Slide Shows are not working. Unfortunately this is a known error in 6.1.x caused by changes brought about by the introduction of the Client Dependency API and the way that  external Javascript is injected into the GalleryPage.aspx  popup page. Disabling pop-ups in the Gallery configuration and allowing the Slide Show (and Viewer, etc.) to display in the current page will restore Slide Show operation.

Nice woodshop by the way! As a part-time woodworker, maybe I should consider moving from Titusville, FL in the winter to the Villages.

Bill,

Thanks for the reply.  I thought that that might be the case...the goggle bot seems to be causing quite a lot of entries in the log.

You (and your dog) will always be welcome in The Villages

Hans
