I'm trying to find a solution that allows me to customize the look and feel of my login and registration pages.  I created my custom pages and updated in site settings to point to them.  Everything was working well until I quickly realized I could not easily change the design, so I have been installing some modules that claim to do this.  Now, I notice that when I click the login link, it does not go to the page I specified.  I'm thinking that one of the modules I installed changed it.  Where can I set that value and what value should it be?

Sebastian, I checked the "portals" table and I do not see any fields resembling "login tab". But I did see a view that had that field in there, so I was able to get the TabId number. I then opened the view "vw_tabs" and found that TabId. It was showing "//Login" when I think it should be showing "//UserProfile//Login" (that's where I put my custom login script". I updated, cleared the cache and refreshed. I still get the wrong link showing when I click on the "Login" link on the homepage. right when I hover over it, it shows "/login.aspx?ReturnURL....".

Also, I checked my development install of DNN to see what settings it is using. I created a test login page under "UserProfile", dropped in the login module and set that page for my login in site settings. Same results. It seems to be ignoring my setting like in my other environment. Is this possibly a bug in 6.0.3?

please be aware, that you'll need to restart the application (invalidate cache) after you made changes in the database. However, regarding LoginTab, I was wrong, it has been moved to PortalLocalization table in DNN 5.3.0

Well, I got it to work again.  After my last post, I checked my dev installation and noticed that the login page I was redirecting to didn't have the account login module installed.  So, I added it back in and it worked.  So, it got me thinking about my other installation.  As I was saying, I'm looking for an alternative to the default login, so I installed some other modules.  In the process, I deleted the login page I had with the "account login" module.  I added a page with that module and everythign started working again.  It looks as if DNN will not use the selected login page unless "somewhere" a page is using the "account login" module.  I don't have to even point to it, it just has to exist.  I'm not sure if that is a bug in DNN or more likely the module I'm using.

Thanks for all your help with this.  I hope this thread might help others having similar problem(s).
