In the DNN EventViewer (Admin->EventViewer) or your server's Event Viewer? I meant the first one.

Is that error happening exactly at the time you're trying to get to the site? I don't think it's got anything to do with the provider as none of the files listed in the stack trace are related to the provider. You've never said whether you tried to clear your cookies or cache. Have you tried that or not?

I'm sorry, yes - I did try clearing the cookes and cache and I also tried waiting an hour.  I also tried it from a couple of different machines via remote desktop.
