First of all, i want to say i am very dissatisfied with the forum, cause you have to wait too long for your post to be approved and post. Even my second post have not been published yet which i sent 2 days ago. In this computer world even 1 minute is very important to get an answer or to get a help. This is my opinion...

My problem still exist, i have told my hosting provider many times that i will havbe to install dotnetnuke but they dont know anything about dotnetnuke.

I am getting error while installing;

Installing Database - Version 06.00.00...FAILURE ERROR: See C:\Inetpub\vhosts\gm-bilisim.com\httpdocs\ilginses\Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider\06.00.00.log.resources for more information

I see that databases created at the back end but getting this error and cant go on with installation.

Also noted that there is no "06.00.00.log.resources" file at the directories so dont tell my that to check the "06.00.00.log.resources" log.

Any help or idea will be good cause this is my 7th day and i have not even see any frontpage...

The most like culprits are incorrect Asp.Net version ] incorrect MS SQL version / service patch mismatches or incorrect permission / credentials on your hosting server.

I would also - from looking at your file path possibly be concerned that you are trying to install dnn is a sub folder or the root hosting - which depending on the hosting platform can sometimes cause issues.

Without knowing a lot more about your hosting environment it is hard to say a lot more.

I would however make the following comment - Host with a provider that knows the CMS you want to use - your life will be so much easier in the long run.

I already face such type of issues, if your hosting is not good dnn supported then you face this issue.

Normally the above mentioned issue happened because of the SQL server version or the Host name is not correct. Even if both are fine then some time SQL connection will close during installation

Please past the log file error for further clearification

When i talk with my hosting provider they are telling me that "tell me the exact specs for asp,sql,server you need so that we can help you"

So i need a fully requirements list not just like windows 2008 r2 with sql and asp version 4 support. That must be detailed so that i can pass it thru my hosting provider

what is the collation used by your SQL Server? DNN requires it to be a case insensitive collation, there are known issue with Turkish collation.
