Hello,

I am using Forum module version 5.0.3 with DNN version 6.1.4. I noticed that when posts are added that the time displayed in the module UI is 5 hours later than the actual time the post was created (the time is correctly recorded in the database). I checked that the site settings time zone is correct (Eastern Standard). Since EST is 5 hours offset from GMT I am suspecting a bug in the module is causing this. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks,

Bill

Also note that I have confirmed this behavior on more than one installation.

Yes Bill, I can confirm this and I am using Forum 5.0.3 with DNN 7.0.2. You would think that my now it would of been fixed :-(

Were you able to fix this or has anyone else figured out how to fix this?

Since the official core forum module is now Active Forums, it seems that support for the old Forum module is either not a high priority or has been discontinued altogether. I am building all new sites with Active Forums now, and use an older version of the DNN Forums module for legacy sites.
