Good day,

This module is exactly what I need!  The only thing I am having issues with is getting the event into our user's Outlook Calendar.  Due to the particular nature of our setup we will have to take advantage of the option to send the meeting to their email, but once they receive the ics file it has been automativally converted (via either Exchange or Outlook) to a msg file, which doesn't allow them to pull in the event into their calendar (Outlook 2002).

Anyone experience this issue and/or have a suggestion as to how to fix it.  As well, if we do get it fixed, is there a way to automatically attach the ics file to their email event notification instead of having to manually sending it when signing up for the event?

Hi Joe,

I've tried having a look round to see if this is a known problem with Outlook 2002, or the way the module is adding the attachment. I'll continue to pursue... Can you try picking up the mail with a slightly newer version of Outlook, this may help to isolate the issue?

Currently you can't add the .ics to the email notification, but if you request this on CodePlex it should be fairly easy to add. I assume this is the notification of a new event by the user/role being subscribed to the calendar as opposed to the reminder sent out 8 hours before the event?
