Please make sure not having special characters like ' or " in your file and folder names.

Hi Sebastian,

good idea but that's not the problem. There were no special characters in any of the folder names. Even if we try with an empty folder we have the same problem.

1) delete an empty folder from a portal, let's say \portals\23\media\homepage using ftp
2) sync using the filemanager
3) the folder is back

you don't have this? the folder is gone and it syncs?

this might be an issue of filesync, which might be fixed already or in next version (6.2.1). It might be introduced by new folder providers, I remember a couple of issues related to file sync. Are you using secure folders?

It would be interesting to move to 6.2.1 to see if this bug is gone. We're not using Secure Folders. I plan to test this out (copy our installation and upgrade). It could take a while to find the time tot do the upgrade but I will post the results here. Thanks,

sorry for not having a better advice, but if it doesn't get solved by the upgrade, we might narrow it down to other reasons.
