I have two languages setup on my website and when I perform a search, I get results from both languages.  I only want to display results from the language I am using on the search page (I have separate search pages for both languages).  How do I accomplish this?  I am using DotNetNuke 6 Professional.

UNfortunately, this feature is not implemented in core search atm.

I found a solution using the SearchCrawler module you get with the professional edition.  I added two "sites" to the SearchCrawler admin using the english homepage URL and the spanish homepage URL.  I then added two new roles, one called "English SearchCrawler" and one called "Spanish SearchCrawler".  I then gave View permissions for the English SearchCrawler role to all english pages and vice versa for spanish.  After that, I configured the two "sites" I created in the SearchCrawler admin to run with the roles specified earlier.  Next, I added the SearchCrawler Input and SearchInput Results modules to the english and spanish search pages.  Finally, I configured the results module on the english page to use the english "site" (as configured at the beginning) to display results and vice versa for spanish.

It works quite well, but it's rather unfortunate to have to jump through all these hoops to achieve this functionality.  I will also have to remember to assign permissions to the SearchCrawler roles for every new page, otherwise they won't show up in the search results.

I hope this is of use to anyone that finds this thread.
