I am new to DotNetNuke. I am using the new Version 6.1.4.  I wanted to create a new Portal on a local host where I installed the default. To do so, I logged as a Super user and went to the host Menu, however I was not able to see the "Portal" among the sub Menus of the Host.  Could any one please tell me why I was not able the "Portal" setting  under the "Host" menu or else where I should be loooking. Also, if possible to explain to me how I should go about creating the a new Portal.

AFAIR, "Portals" has been renamed to "Web Sites" recently. But I suggest starting with the default web site, delete all content and pages besides the home page, clear recycle bin and create your own content.

Cheers from Germany,
