It turns out that this is probably a non-issue for me, as this seems to be occuring with firefox only, on my local test box... being used for development purposes with VWD.
Nonetheless, in the process of evaluating the new release, it is a curiousity-  and I mean only to note it as such.

(sorry about the image links not working. That seems to be an image hosting issue)

gah!

It's like this here, on the real, live site!
Looks WHACK in firefox, normal in IE.

Is it just my version of FireFox?

the erroneous display in firefox is caused by an error in the silver theme css, in class A.Forum_HeaderText:Link, A.Forum_HeaderText:Visited, the definition starts with two accolades, the definition is

A.Forum_HeaderText:Link, A.Forum_HeaderText:Visited {
{
	font-weight: bold;
	font-size: 8pt;
	color: #cc0000;
	font-family: Tahoma;
	letter-spacing: 1px;
	text-decoration: underline;
}
while is should be
A.Forum_HeaderText:Link, A.Forum_HeaderText:Visited
{
	font-weight: bold;
	font-size: 8pt;
	color: #cc0000;
	font-family: Tahoma;
	letter-spacing: 1px;
	text-decoration: underline;
}

cheers,

Erik

Accolades for you, ErikVB!

Nice find. I thought I was going ccrazy.

I ran the CSS through the validator, but did not know which of the many errors was the fault. I guess it would help if I knew what a 'parse error' was.

Line: 25 Context : A.Forum_HeaderText:link, A.Forum_HeaderText:visited  Parse Error -

Now I do.
:grin:

Does this need to go into Gemini, or can the valid CSS be expedited and instituted soon?
