Hi All, so I have the following code and for some reason I am not seeing childOf Tabs. Can anyone see why?

Public Class PortalInformation
Public Shared Function PortalID() As String
        Return PortalController.GetCurrentPortalSettings.PortalId
    End Function

Public Shared Function GetMenu() As String

        Dim sb As New StringBuilder
        Dim withChildren = False
Dim peers As New Generic.List(Of DotNetNuke.Entities.Tabs.TabInfo)
Dim children As New Generic.List(Of DotNetNuke.Entities.Tabs.TabInfo)

        peers = TabController.GetTabsByParent(-1, PortalID)
        If peers.Count > 0 Then
            sb.Append("<ul>" & vbCrLf)
            For Each peer In peers

                If peer.IsVisible = True And peer.IsDeleted = False And HasPermission(peer.TabID) = True Then
                    sb.Append("<li><a href=""" & peer.FullUrl & """>")

                    sb.Append(peer.TabName)

                    sb.Append("</a>" & vbCrLf)
                    If withChildren Then
                        children = TabController.GetTabsByParent(peer.TabID, PortalID)
                        If children.Count > 0 Then
                            sb.Append("<ul>" & vbCrLf)
                            For Each child In children
                                If child.IsVisible = True And child.IsDeleted = False And HasPermission(peer.TabID) = True Then
                                    sb.Append("<li><a href=""" & child.FullUrl & """>" & child.TabName & "</a></li>" & vbCrLf)
                                End If
                            Next
                            sb.Append("</ul>" & vbCrLf)
                        End If
                    End If
                    sb.Append("</li>" & vbCrLf)
                End If
            Next
            sb.Append("</ul>" & vbCrLf)
        End If

        Return sb.ToString
    End Function

Shared Function HasPermission(ByVal TabId As Integer) As Boolean
Dim objTabs As TabController = New TabController()
        Dim objTab As DotNetNuke.Entities.Tabs.TabInfo = objTabs.GetTab(TabId, Null.NullInteger, False)
Return Permissions.TabPermissionController.CanNavigateToPage(objTab)
    End Function
End Class
