I already have a bulk of our existing files that were saved  to standard folders on the server physically and not the database. However, with FCKEditor, the linkclick link was created automatically.
Is there a way for me to make these Standard folders Secure since we cannot have direct links exposing our files?

Thanks
Mel

unless links are stored using fileID in the database, you will need to update it, if moving to a secure folder (file system preferrred over database).

When I try to create a Secure Folder, I get the following error message

The underlying system threw an exception. The folder has not been added.

I upgraded to 6.1.5 and am still having the issue. Also, I cannot use the <location path="" inheritInChildApplications="false"> in web.config anymore. This tag is very important to us since we have multiple websites running under this root website of ours.

Is there a version which does solve all these problems?

Thanks
Mel

Mel - I still use in 6.2 but I just wrap it around the httpModules, handlers, section etc. and not the section.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. Can you tell me exactly which components do I need to wrap the location tag around? It does not work for system.web and system.webserver, httpmodules and httphandlers.

Thanks
Mel
