Hi,

I am developing a DNN website on 64 bit OS. After the testing is over I will need to move it to production server which has 32 bit OS. As I am new to DNN, I dont know if it is possible. Any guidelines in this regard will be helpful .

unless you are using 3rd party modules requiring 64-bit dlls, there should be no issue running your DNN sites on 32 bit OS.

Thanks Sebastian.

I understand your point but when I am hosting the portal on a 64 bit system , it will interact with 64 bit database and web server. My understanding here is that all DLL's being called are going to be 64 bit . Please correct me if it is not the case.

both, ASP.Net and SQL Server shouldn't be an issue. I never experienced problems migrating DNN websites between my local virtual dev machine (32-bit) and our web servers (64-bit).

Cheers from Germany,
