Do you have a web garden configured in IIS? Basically multiple IIS worker processes configured on the application pool. This can cause the error. Also if the application pool recycles during a post back you'll see this error.

Thank you for your assistance but the Maximum number of Worker processes on the application Pool is 1 and the last recycle event was around 3PM on 09/04/2012 and the events I am looking at accurred on the 10/04/2012.  The application pool is configured to restart every 1740 minutes.

Hi David,

I have the same problem with a website and IMHO it's probably some crackers trying to steal your website using the POET attack, because if you look in the error message you can see than the request come from a high port number : 178.239.96.249Port: 31488

We (team members) are Humans offering their knowledge, their work and their spare time FOR FREE to benefit the community. It would be so particularly appreciated that your messages begin with "Hello" and end with "Thank you" or any other form of politeness. Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Not 100% sue about that because i was looking into an issue that caused errors for a site user that occurred at the same time as this error.  i assumed this error was the one generated by the user on the site.  if it is the POET attack is there anything i should do?
