Hi

I have a requirement to only show certain links in a left hand horizontal navigation bar depending on a user's security.

I have looked at DDR Menu and Menu Box and have them displaying nicely and I like both but not sure how to go about customising the navigation bar per person.

Can anybody point me in the right direction  please on how to do this for either of those two menus or is there a better navigation module for what I want ?

 Thanks.

JHF

Hi Jacqui, if you set the permissions on the pages themselves to the roles required, that will determine whether the page is listed in the navigation links.

Thanks Pingle,

OOh great so not as complicated as I thought.

If a user doesn't have permission to view the page due to their role then that page won't show in the navigation.

Is that what you are saying?

Regards

Jacqui.

That's correct, certainly for the DDR Menu, I'm assuming that Menu Box works the same way.
