I meant to post this as a reply to the DNN 4.3 announcement, but I'm not allowed to reply to that one, and I don't know why.

What are the features of DNN 4.3? I downloaded it, and I'm playing with it, but not all features are discoverable through trial and error. I read the press release, but it doesn't really go into enough detail. There is no documentation available on 4.3 that I can find, and the announcement thread also does not go into detail.

Can anyone tell me what the new features of DNN 4.3 are?

The biggest changes are in Membership and File Storage.

1. There are large changes in the Admin/User Accounts page, anything to do with membership, Register, Login
2. Better support for a number of extended Membership options (support for Hashed passwords, support for Question/Answer)
3. Use of Captch (for Registration/Login), customisable redirects on Login, Registration, all configured from the User Settings link in User Accounts
4. Customised Profile properties, configurable from Manage profile properties in User Accounts

Other enhancments include two secure file storage options - secure file system, and embedded in Database.

If you play around with these you have covered, 80-90% of the changes.

Thanks, but how do I use some of these features? For instance:
"HTML Skins - skins created as HTML files can now include a section. The skin parsing engine will parse the content within the BODY tag when creating the ASCX skin file."

Sounds great! But how, specifically, can I use it?
