I bought a template and I'm trying to get rid of the link associated with the breadcrumb navigation on the page. Can anybody help? Here is the code. I still want the breadcrumbs to appear, just not linked.

    <div class='breadcrumbs'>
        <dnn:BREADCRUMB runat="server" id="dnnBREADCRUMB"  CssClass="Breadcrumb" RootLevel="0" Separator="&nbsp;/&nbsp;" />
    </div>

That's not possible with the default breadcrumb skin object.

There are 2 ways to do this.

1. Create your own fork of the breadcrumbs skin object.
2. Use DDR menu for this and change the XSLT
(It can render breadcrumbs too)

You can find more info on DDR menu here: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/W...
The example templates for it are here: http://dnnddrmenutemplates.codeplex.com/

I have to ask - why do you want to stop them being links?

It's a legitimate place for the user to navigate to. It's a common convention used by many sites (why be different). It's a free feature; and it will cost you in work to disable it.

I agree Richard. My only problem is for example in my navigation 'Services > Technology > Product', the 'Technology' piece is just a subheader in a two column mega menu, so technically there is nothing on the page. So if a user did click on 'Technology', they would get a blank page (unless I can somehow redirect it to go to the 'Product' page).

Hopefully that makes sense.

Does this work for you?

Go to page settings for Technology, Set the page disabled (in Advanced Settings). Then the link in the breadcrumbs will not be clickable, and the link in the menu will not be clickable.
