i hyperlinked a text (download) to a document in folder in the file manager (secured database) which only registered users has the right to view the content. So i want when an unauthorized user clicks on the text (download) the system will redirect the user to login page when the user logs in then he can download the file.

how do i achieve this

AFAIK this isnt possible, as when a user does not have file access we throw a 404 exception -this is a security best practice as it ensures that the user (and potential hacker) does not know if the file exists, or if they have insufficent permissions. Redirects happen at the page level when a user does not have permissions so a workaround is to create a page with the link to the file and send out the page details.
