I have a static IP that I have my DNN site connected to. When I type in said IP(173.248.189.237) I get a 404. I have the home page set to home.aspx. When I type in 173.248.189.237/Home.aspx or 173.248.189.237/default.aspx it works fine. My hosting provider seems to think it is something with DNN. Anyone have any ideas?

most likely, default page is not set correctly in your IIS web site. make sure to add default.aspx.

Do you mean add a default.aspx page to my dnn site? It says that the name is invalid.

No, not to your DNN!  You should add default.aspx as your default start page on your IIS (Internet Information Services) of your Computer/Server!

I had my hosting provider add home.aspx and default.aspx was already there under the default documents. When typing in the IP it still prompts a 404 error.

Any ideas?
