Hi,

I was just trying to do a build on a fresh install on all the modules here, and get errors in both the forums and store modules,  It would be very good if the project leaders of both of these would release the source code so i can get these fixed, right now i have had to exclude Forum_Attachment.aspx from the forums project for this reason Error 13 Could not load type 'DotNetNuke.Modules.Forum.AttachmentPage'. DesktopModules\Forum\Forum_Attachment.aspx 2; and the AddressEdit.ascx from the store project for this reason Error 13 Could not load type 'DotNetNuke.Modules.Store.WebControls.AddressEdit'. DesktopModules\Store\AddressEdit.ascx 3.

I understand that each project has their own leaders and they will release will they can, but i can't even build a simple project without these errors, and if i don't have the source to fix them, then i'm stuck or just have to exclude them.  Please don't get me wrong with post, i just wish they would have released the source for the modules along with the source for the new build, it would have made me(probably alot of other developers) and my client much happier.

This release has been long waited for, due to certain enhancements, and I am very pleased with what has been done it.  I thank the core very much for what they have added, and btw in the next week or two, I will be a Platinum Benefatcor, because i believe in the project so much that my whole business evolves around dnn.

Thanks,
Andrew

This is NOT the appropriate forum for request - check the other forums, this subject has been discussed multiple times in the past days.

Just delete the DesktopModules\Forum and DesktopModule\Store folders entirely and you can compile the app in VS 2005.

If you want to install the latest store and forum builds you can find the private assemblies zipped up in a folder somewhere (i forget the exact folder).  Just upload those to the live DNN installation and you can utilize the components as it.  If you want to modify them you will need to wait till the independant projects make an official release with source.  Last I checked they didn't have the latest versions for download.
