I am trying to figure out how to make the page URL's for all of my DNN sites to be more user friendly by shortening the address for use with search engines.

Is there some way to take this URL :
http://www.bluediamondwebs.com/WebDesign/MobileWebs/tabid/2584/Default.aspx

and, make it shorter like this: http://www.bluediamondwebs.com/WebDesign/MobileWebs

It just seems like there should be a way to have the website move from page to page without adding the Tab ID, number, and default.aspx to the end of the page url.

Login as host user.  Enable User Friendly URLs on host settings.

Notice:  Some Modules still have problems to support user friendly URLs.

You can't have that kind of URLs with a default DNN. You need an extra module for that.

Why DNN can't have PROPER URLs in 2012 is something that i just can't understand.

By enabling Human Friendly URLs, you'll get url's like http://www.bluediamondwebs.com/WebDes...

To get rid of .aspx, you need access to IIS routing (not available in shared hosting).
