I'm using the iFinity Url Master on my site, but I also need to do some individual 301 redirect (as I'm moving a few posts).  To achieve this, I have tried to the following rewrite in the web.config:

<rule name="famous-scientists" patternSyntax="ExactMatch" stopProcessing="true">
<match url="http://myelectrical.com/notes/notes-view/articleid/777/no-the-real-page" />
<action type="Redirect" url="http://myelectrical.com/notes_new/entryid/143/famous-scientists" appendQueryString="false" redirectType="Permanent" />
</rule>

Problem is it appears to be completely ignored.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, did you find a solution to this problem? I have the following problem as well:

We developed a new site for a customer, the old site was a DNN 4x version that did not have friendly urls. The new site is DNN 6x.

Even though the page has the same name, google won't find the new content.

For example:

The url indexed in google is http://www.grupoafianzador.com.mx/Fianzas/Definiciondeunafianza/tabid/63/Default.aspx

And the new URL is: http://www.grupoafianzador.com.mx/Fianzas/Definiciondeunafianza.aspx

But google will not find the same tabid so it will show a different page (in this case will try to log in).

We have a list of the URLs indexed by google and the new URLs they should point to. Is there a way to fix this problem?
