So this depends on your SQL skills. You need to modify the length of the DetailURL attribute on the Events and EventsRecurMaster tables. Then modify the EventsSave and EventsRecurMasterSave spocs to change the DetailURL parameters. You may also need to edit EditEvents.ascx to change the length of the URLDetail field.

Hi Roger

Sorry - missed response when the forum errored out.

My SQL skills - ha! I wish but I do have the freebie sql management studio and have been know to carry out the odd edit when I had a clear idea of what it was I needed to do.
I assume that you are saying look into these tables sprocs and change the values. I am sure I can do that.

I think I will try with a clone of the DN first though.

The other approach might be to work through the css changes in the RC3 and use that.  Its not like I have not used an RC of events on a live site before (as Events RC's are very good).

In my problem instance I use only a list mode view - no enrolment etc.
