thats very odd-view modules inherit the skin from the page they're on - and apply the skin default container (unless they overrider via the module settings) - as for checking the skin you can use PortalSettings.ActiveTab.SkinPath or PortalSettings.ActiveTab.SkinSrc

Hey Guys,

Any call to NavigateURL that has a field in the second parameter will automatically create a CTL= option in the resulting URL.

.NavigateURL(TabId, "Dashboard", "mid="

"Dashboard" is telling the NavigateURL to create a CTL=Dashboard reference in the resulting URL.

It is the CTL in the url that causes the system to switch into showing an page in ADMIN mode.

duh - thanks Wes, I forgot that overload injected the ctl as a querystring parameter.BTW there is a useful wiki page on module navigation at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/Module-navigation.aspx (ironically written by me)
