Hi.. had some issues with a development site i was working on...

Not sure how but I finally got the site up thru webmatrix, and showing in the browser.. but now when i try to log into the site...

Host / Password

I get response that the information i input is incorrect/when i try to retrieve the password for host.. i get the following.

Retrieve Password option is currently unavailable.

I am not experienced with SQL or IIS and am currently learning DNN.... Can someone outthere please walk me through how I get a new login/password set or find the one it is looking for on the local host?

Pretty much at a stand still on development, since i cant log in.

I am running DNN 6.1.5 on local host

If you need further information please let me know... Lost here...

please check that enablePasswordRetrieval is set to true in the web.config - if it is then it looks like you dont have your SMTP settings setup correctly. The wiki has a page that should help you recover/reset any passwords - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/Recover-passwords.aspx
