I had a very similar error when upgrading because I forgot to merge the new web.config changes in.

I am getting the same error on one of my modules in 4.3. I used the release.config. Copied my Machine Key and connection strings over. The site updated fine except for my module not getting the userinfo. Is there something else from my old web.config I should copy over.

Thanks in advance
