Have you managed to get the category width to do what you want using the second method I suggested?

No, I did try it (and I did change the xxx's to my theme name) but no joy with that, I'm afraid. I will try it on another installation tomorrow just to prove it doesn't (or does) work.

Could you try it on the Hasting's Ice Rink site, then I can see what you have done to see if it works. Bear in mind that the .css file is cached client side, so you need to do a refresh of the page. Ctrl+F5 usually does the job.

Roger, thanks for posting the fix.  I was looking for the same solution.  Ability to widen the categories.

What would be even cooler, I think, is if you could add a few additional modules (similar to the way the dnn blog works) where you have categories, locations, etc. as separate add on modules that can be added to your page next to the calendar and then sort things that way, as a side menu...  just a thought.

I was curios to find out what the notes section is?  Nothing there to update but says something about a summary.  Is it supposed to be blank or something showing?

 Great work  on the latest release!  Really like it.   cheers. Mike.

Hi Roger,

OK, have made the changes to the ice rink site and I will add them here to so you can make sure I've done them correctly!

In EventList.ascx I now have the following:

< div >
    < div style="width:33%;float:left;min-height:1px;" >< /div >
    < div style="width:34%;float:left;min-height:1px;text-align:center;" >
        < evt:Category ID="SelectCategory" runat="server"></evt:Category >
    < /div >

In my theme folder (actually called MyTheme) I have added the following to the end:

.ThemeMyTheme .RadComboBox_Default {
width: auto !important;
}

I didn't make any change to SelectCategory.ascx.

However, all that seems to do is reposition the Categories label to the top of the box. Here's the link again http://www.1066-ice-skating-club.org.uk/NewsEvents.aspx

I did this again in the other install and got the same results. Am I doing something wrong? Wouldn't be the first time!
