I would like to know how to change the colours of my skin. I am using the DarkKnight default skin provided by DotNetNuke -- the Home Mega Menu for all of my site pages -- and I would like to know how to change the colour from the rather bland black and white that they provide. I went into my folders containing the site Portals -> _default -> Skins -> DarkKnight -> Home-Mega-Menu.ascx but I couldn't figure out if this was the file I needed to change the colour. I have a hunch it is one of the css files that I need to access but I am not sure which one it is.

1) Which .css file (or file in general) do I need to access to change the background colour?

2) Also, where do I go to find whichever file I need to change the background colour of the site?

Thank you!

in general you're looking tochange skin.css - however the easiest thing to do is to look at the output in the developer tools (e.g. press F12 in internet explorer -see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ie/gg699337(v=vs.85).aspx or else use firebug in firefox). I recommend you read the skinning wiki page to get an idea about how skins/containers/css work - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/Skins.aspx
