Hi!

I'm working with an installation of DNN 4.0.2. I'm trying to add an alias to a portal with a superuser account. The problem I face is that whenever I get to the alias edit (or add) page, the portal aliases module doesn't show.

Has anyone faced that problem before?

Thanks

Aliases can only be added via the host account. Once logged in as the host, you can modify alias settings in two locations, under the Portals tab in the Host menu and under a small section that is tacked on to the Site Settings page under the Admin menu.

Outside of this, I'm not familiar with any other method of managing aliases.

when you click on the add portal alias link at the bottom of the portal or admin site settings page, what exactly does the browser return?

DNN returns a normal page, as if I were logged in, with the menus and everything, but the module used to edit or add an alias is not there. Is like a new page, whitout any module on it.

I really don't know why it does that.

Yeah, thanks Casey, I knew that. The problem is when I'm on the Alias edit page. ;o/
