Hi - can anyone who is well versed in the events 6.0 module help me out here?

When I activate to show both the calendar dates and categories I want them to be on the same line.  Not stacked as shown below.  I also want to change the name from "categories" to "Event Filter" or something like that...  Can anyone point me to the right files?  thanks!

Hi,

Not sure you will be able to get the date and category on the same line without editing EventMonth.ascx. In the enxt version I am hoping to get this so it is controlled via .css (in the theme files), so you will have greater configurability.

To change the name to 'Event Filter you need to use the languages dialogue in the standard DNN Admin menu, which is the same for pretty much any 'lanugage translation' within DNN.

Thanks

Roger

Roger, thanks for the speedy reply.  I've messed with the EventMonth.ascx file and it's tough to get that on the same line but I'll keep plugging away at it and see what I can do.

As for changing the name on "categories" to "event filter" I'm sorry, but I'm not following you here.  You are suggesting that I need to control that via the admin > languages page?  I thought that was to load up new languages to the site. Like if I wanted to post info in Spanish..  Can you elaborate on that a little more?  Really appreciate your insight and help.  thanks. Mike.

Admin/languages allows you to edit languages at portal/site/host levels as well. Not only adding languages. If you edit at Portal level you can change the text displayed.
