Hello,

I am trying to dynamically build a HTML table. The data are pulled from a MSSQL database by a SOAP webservice and with the help of 2 javascripts (xpath.js & sprydata.js) read into a HTML table. When I have al the files and scripts locally in place, all works fine.

In DNN I'm not able to accomplish the same. I placed a text/html module on my webpage, uploaded the javascripts etc. but no table and no data appear.

I tried placing the code that is responsible for calling the scripts in both the header, the body and/or the footer of the text/html module but so far, nothing works although no error message are generated either.

Any suggestions?

For placing the Javascripts I would suggest to use Will Strohl's Content Injection for DotNetNuke (available on Codeplex), and not the HTML module.

Anyway: Be extremely careful when you use any Javascript framework like Mootools etc. They may conflict with jQuery.

And: The best solution would be a custom module that consumes the WS and renders the data into the desired HTML table. Or do you need any client-side interactions?

Best wishes
Michael
