I've upgraded to version 6.2.0 and the notifications received during theupdate indicated it to be successful. I would have upgraded from 6.0.X (I knowI should have checked!)

My issue is I cannot use the new message centre? The old message module isstill present in the 'Installed Extensions' as in the new Message Centre, but Icannot select the new module to add? It's just not in the drop down?

 I've reapplied the 6.2 update package - repaired the module using'DNNCE_CoreMessaging_06.02.00_Install.zip nothing appears to be fundamentallywrong - I simply cannot access the new functionality?!

thats odd, during upgrade the messages from the old message module and migrated to the new one and then the old should be uninstalled, so clearly something went wrong (you can try to look at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/W... to see database logs - or if you can retry the upgrade again in your test environment you can set log4net to All to see if you can capture the issue - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/W... ).

Please check the CoreMessaging_Messages and CoreMessaging_MessageRecipients tables and if they appear to contain the correct data (i.e. your existing messages), I would uninstall the old messaging module and then try to add the message centre to a page
