Hi all,

I've upgraded to 6.2.0 from a clean 6.1.0 install on our test machine and now I can't login.  Whenever I click the login link in top right or visit /login.aspx I get the following exception:

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.     at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin.InjectModule(Pane pane, ModuleInfo module)

Anyone got any ideas, the rest of the site functions fine.

we'll need a little more detail - as you cant log in you cant see the admin event viewer, so you'll have to connect to the database directly and view the EventLog table (order it by date to see the latest) and post the full stack trace here.

Thanks for your help.

My EventLog table doesnt seem to have a full stack trace, instead. It just contains an LogProperties column which is full of XML tags. How do I get to the full stack trace?

you can either cast it to xml (and then the columns become clickable in sql server management studio) via "select cast(logproperties as xml) from dnn_eventlog" or copy it to a file, name the file with an xml extension and open it (will usually open in IE)
