DMX

Have got access to new DMX module and just trying to do some very basic stuff. When i open a file in Word/Excel it works fine, but the file opens in protected mode. Despite doing everything at the Word end to prevent this, ticking boxes in trust centre etc. so files from the web should not open in protected mode it still does this.

Obviously this prevents me editing and saving direct back to DMX, to my mind it can only be:

1) Something in my Word settings

2) Something in DMX (Webdav seems set ok)

3) Something in the virus software

Have tried on two machines both using Office 2010 with no joy and now recahed the throw laptop at wall stage.

Is the answer staring me in the face?

Just did a quick google search on protected mode. Does this help? http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-...

Thanks, sadly it didn't work, i'd done most of what was there in the post and in the comments there was something else to tick that had worked for some folk, but i still get them opening in read only from the DMX.

Its probably staring me in the face.
