Hi

i want to use WCF services in dotnetnuke. can any one guide me.....

 give me some sample tutorial......... i know that WCF hosting, services create. i want to know how to use that services in dotnetnuk.e.

Steve Fabian did a series of blogs on WCF at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/Page/Extensions-with-Social-Integration.aspx - alternatively you can write MVC2 based webservices in 6.2.0 and use the DotNetNuke service framework to call them

SudhaSubramaniyam,

it's quite easy, I did this for a website that stores contacts in a database. So we have a central point to manage contacts. Then I wrote a DNN module that consumes a web service from that site to display the contact information. The only thing you should look at is caching the data on the DNN site to lower network traffic, and delete the cache on a regular basis.

I did this by creating a module just for WCF services. It's really just that, a module I built from one of the DNN templates, and I put a WCF service in it... I didn't run into too many issues.
