I hope this is the right place to put this but here it goes.  I have downloaded the starter kit and opened it up in VB2005 and pressed CTRL-F5 and  installed and I am able to do anything in the site except register a new user.  I just get the error message:

Error: Register is currently unavailable.

What am I missing to set this up?

There are quite a few of us getting this Error with register, i upgraded then the error occurred.. You may want to add to this thread, it may be a bug.
